About ALEX

ALEX is an acronym for Acceptance, Love, Equality, and Xenacious.
Founded to meet a growing need for connection and affirming support, ALEX is a community-centered nonprofit serving LGBTQIA+ individuals, allies, and those still searching for where they belong.Through gatherings, support groups, educational programs, and community events, ALEX creates welcoming space where people of all ages can build relationships, access resources, and feel seen. Our new physical space deepens this commitment, offering a consistent, safe place to connect, grow, and simply be.
Our Mission
ALEX builds affirming, inclusive community for LGBTQIA+ individuals, allies, and anyone seeking safety, connection, and belonging. We create spaces where people can show up as their full selves and know they are supported.
Our Vision
We envision a community where every person, especially those who have felt unseen, marginalized, or alone, experience acceptance, dignity, and genuine belonging. ALEX strives to be a place where connection replaces isolation, understanding replaces fear, and love leads the way.
