Cameron Celotto is a 17 year old who is a part of the LGBTQ+ community. He was born and raised in Connecticut. He is currently working towards his high school diploma, with a passion for writing and art. Cameron creates artwork and loves to crochet original items. He attends multiple craft fairs a year where he sells his handmade items. He hopes to be able to illustrate his own comic series one day. When Camerons mother suggested the idea of ALEX, he wanted to be a part of it. At the young age of 16, Cam has already experienced hate crimes and has seen many friends having to hide their authentic selves because of lack of support from family and loved ones. Cameron’s hope for ALEX is to provide a safe space for those who don’t have any, education for those who have a desire to learn, and an outlet for the marginalized to be seen, heard and loved for exactly who they are.
